Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir’s mother has passed away. إِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَإِنَّا إِلَیْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ (Surely, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return). May Allah grant the departed soul a high rank in paradise and bless her with eternal peace. Ameen.
Leaders Express Their Condolences
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani expressed their condolences to the Army Chief, stating that they share the grief of the bereaved family.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Federal Railway Minister Hanif Abbasi, Governor Kamran Tessori, and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also extended their sympathies to General Asim Munir, praying for the forgiveness and eternal peace of the departed soul.
