My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Release Date

At AnimeJapan 2025, a special video was shown at the My Dress-Up Darling event at Aniplex’s booth. It was confirmed that the anime’s sequel will be Season 2, which will air in July 2025.

Fans of My Dress-Up Darling will be thrilled to hear that a second season will be released in 2025! Kohei Nishi, Junichi Sato, and Kenji Arakawa announced this news in December 2024 on the anime’s website and social media.

About the Anime:

This is an anime based on the bestselling manga written and drawn by Ryuichi Fukuda. The popularity of the original series prompted a Japanese airing from January 9, 2022, to March 27, 2022.

The story is, in fact, set to the image of Wakana Gojo, a reclusive student devoted to (the creation of) hina dolls. At the last second, he bumped into Marin Kitagawa, a girl with a sparkling smile and fashionable dress who likes cosplay. Marin learns about Gojo’s sewing talent and pressures him to make cosplay costumes for her. The longer they are together, the stronger Marin’s emotions for Gojo become, leading to a lot of cute and funny moments.
